Advisory Council Minutes
In

Call to
Order: The meeting was
called to order by John Dockerty, president, at 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Bohnet welcomed new
people to SAC and was happy to have additional students attending and would
like them to bring a friend.
Approval of
minutes: Minutes from October 9, 2006
were read and approved.
Principal’s
Report:

Mr. Bohnet
reviewed the November calendar.
·
He is very
impressed with the band.
·
Suggested parents
and students attend drama and choral performances during the holidays, always
great.
·
·
Football has
finished.
·
Boys and Girls
basketball and wrestling season just began.
Open Forum
·
Ms Brock
explained picture retakes.
·
Ms. Wiseman will
be having some of her speakers come to SAC.
·
Sue Stone spoke
on road to graduations credits & requirements.
·
Marcia Miller explain the Great American Teach-In at

Brenda Vlach talk about Adult Education at
·
Mr. Zebley, explained there will be a new code of conduct and
passed one out to each person. He advised the parents can have an input
but it must be done by 11/15.
Unfinished
Business
·
McDonalds fundraiser was set for January 17, 2008. Mr.
Bohnet will work the fundraiser.
·
Ms. Keller
discussed some other options for getting students involved in a fundraiser,
such as having a dance or a car wash.
·
Discussion will
continue on different fundraiser for SAC.
·
John would like
to have corporate donations.
